Student Research Symposium
After the first successful week in the church forest Tara Gedam cloase to Addis Zemen, a small student symposium took place on 4th March 2023, where the students presented their variety of topics. The short presentations focused on the following aspects: overarching topic, research question(s), study design and methodology, first results, and potential challenges. After each presentation fruitful as well as critically discussion took place with suggestions for improvement and open questions were jointly solved. This symposium served to potentially improve the individual studies and to provide advice to address possible shortcomings. Furthermore, the different working groups could visualize and discuss possible synergies to share data as well as work in the field.
